Each year, the Museum of the American Cocktail celebrates World Cocktail Week™ (May 6th to 18th) and World Cocktail Day™ (May 18th)
as a way to help spread awareness and appreciation of the cocktail and its history, as well
as to raise money for the Museum to support its exhibit in New Orleans and its world-wide
operations.
This year, the Museum coordinated with over 30 different bars and restaurants around the world
to provide a variety of different engaging and educational celebrations in honor of the cocktail.
Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, St. Louis, San Francisco, Seattle, New Orleans, New York,
Washington DC, Syndey, Brisbane, Perth, Melbourne, and even Warszawa Poland
got into the spirit of the celebrations and held dinners, tastings, seminars,
and grand gala affairs in order to participate in this unique opportunity.
