World Cocktail Week 2008

detailsvenuespress release

World Cocktail Week was established to celebrate the rich history of the cocktail and recognize the craftsmanship and skill of the bartenders who have been mixing them for over 200 years.

Celebrating WCW (May 8 - 13th) is a great way to bring attention to your venue and support the Museum of the American Cocktail, while paying tribute to the rich culinary and historical tradition of the cocktail .

We are happy to endorse all venues interested in holding WCW celebrations but we ask that you highlight a few of our Museum brand sponsors in your selected cocktails for the event. By promoting our sponsor brands you are providing valuable support to the Museum and our sponsors who make the museum possible.

Please structure your event so that public transportation is easily available and actively encouraged to your guests. We hope too, that you will encourage your guests to become members of the Museum.

If you wish to organize a WCW celebration at your bar:

Once your celebration has been registered and approved with MOTAC, please display the official World Cocktail Seal on your website, and on any outreach about the event.

We have two different styles of logos to use depending on your specific needs:

Thank you for supporting the Museum of the American Cocktail!
